December 14, 2010 Meeting: Holiday Gathering

The Indianapolis Aero Club, welcomes Dave Graf.  Dave will once again being playing holiday music at our December 14 meeting.

Additionally, John Brill will be speaking on the topic Cold War Fighter Pilot.  He will stage an ejection out of an F-86F Saberjet in Korea and he will be wearing his fighter pilot gear from 1953.

In past years, you have been very generous with supplies for the Food Pantry.  The Food Pantry  at 11th and Oxford is again in need of the communities generosity to ensure that the families in need are taken care of.  Your help is again appreciated.  Please bring things like canned goods and paper products.

November 9, 2010 Meeting Speaker: Capt. Jesse Frey

The Indianapolis Aero Club, welcomes Capt. Jesse Frey.  Capt. Frey will speak to the club about his experiences during WWII, piloting the P-51 Ain't Misbehavin', and a recent special event at our November 9 meeting.

Jesse Frey was recently honored as the Indiana Wing of the CAF and Montgomery Aviation hosted an event where Capt Frey was reunited with his crew chief, Pat Buzzeo and the P-51 P-51 Ain't Misbehavin'. (Press Release)  We'll have a slide show from that event and Capt. Frey will share his thoughts from the event also.
